CISB’s Outstanding IB Diploma Results!

We are thrilled and proud to share the Class of 2022 exceptional results from this year’s IB Diploma Programme. Congratulations to our students for achieving an average score of 37 out of 45! The Class of 2022 continues the long-held CISB tradition of performing significantly above the global average, which continues to provide CISB graduates with extraordinary opportunities.  

This year 43% of students scored above 40 points, with three students, Albert Huang, Vivian Leng and Wanda Gao scoring 43 out of 45 points. This is an incredible achievement! Furthermore, 64% of our students scored above 35 points while undertaking the world’s most rigorous university preparatory programme.

For four years consecutively, CISB has had a 100% pass rate for all DP students. This year’s global average is 85.6%.

With these exceptional examination results in hand, the CISB class of 2022 will attend prestigious universities worldwide, including the University of Toronto, McGill University,  Parsons School of Design, Tufts University, St Andrew University, The University of British Columbia, Boston University, University of California, Keio University and many more, as they join other distinguished CISB alumni around the globe.

I am extremely proud of our students’ achievements. Their commitment and dedication to doing their best has resulted in our students reaching this high level of success. The hard work and support of our faculty and CISB community have been commendable in the achievement of these strong results, especially given the situation that these students and staff have dealt with over the past two years. Their adaptability, belief in themselves and resilience have prepared them well for their next journey. Indeed, as our school motto says, “Together Is Better.”

Our IB DP Coordinator, DP teachers, DP support staff and middle-high school administration team have all worked with much purpose with our IB DP students, and the results are indeed something that we all should be very proud of.
